Based in Washington, DC, Serena has spent nearly two decades producing art in myriad forms, from crayon mermaids (at the age of four) to designing promotional materials for embassies, nonprofits, and museums. She draws, photographs, films, writes, designs for print and online media, sews, beads, blogs nerdy things, and occasionally constructs elaborate chain mail garments. Her hair is alarmingly short, her feet are dirty, and her mind is wandering.
